As a designer, I am constantly on the look-out for new inspiration and 3daysofdesign is the perfect place to get the creative processes flowing. The whole city feels vibrant, bringing so many talented designers, manufacturers and brands together, who are opening up their spaces to discover the latest developments in furniture design and interior decor. I love to see how different creative fields can collide and how interior design can influence fashion in terms of materials, colours and shapes, and vice versa. I can’t wait to experience all the innovative exhibitions, presentations and events to get inspired.

House of Nordic Design
House of Nordic Design is a commercial platform and community of contemporary Scandinavian design. My sister Natalia Sánchez is curating the NoDe exhibition, showcasing emerging design talent and giving them a platform in the global design market.

Space10
Space10 is a research and design lab in the heart of the meatpacking district. They are hosting “Design in the Age of AI”, an exhibition of speculative design concepts. I’m looking forward to discovering how AI can be engrained in design processes. The prints from our Pre-Spring 2024 collection “Artificial Infatuation” (dropping in October 2023), were designed by AI. This was such an interesting and eye-opening process for myself and our design team.

The Junction - Spacon&X
Spacon&X are a cross-disciplinary design and architecture studio we have worked with on the scenography for our recent shows at CPHFW. They have created a modular, long table that will be shown on Friday at 3daysofdesign and have launched an open call for 3 collaborators/teams that will have two hours at the table to do whatever they desire. I’m extremely curious to see what they come up with.

File Under Pop
FUP specializes in interior colours and textures through tiles, wallpapers and paint and they create the most unexpected, beautiful colour combinations. They are opening a new store in Carlsberg Byen, which will open for the first time during 3daysofdesign.

Helle Mardahl
Helle Mardahl Studio creates richly coloured glass designs that exist at the intersection of art and functionality. For 3daysofdesign they are hosting “The Sensory Society Exhibition” at the Helle Mardahl headquarters on Bredgade.

Frama
Frama is a multidisciplinary design brand that encourages mindful living and they are hosting “IL MERCATO” during 3daysofdesign at the FRAMA store, celebrating the local community and underlining the importance of food culture inspiring cross-industry collaboration.

Morning run with UMAGE - architectural run

Danish design brand Umage is hosting a morning run along the water at the Copenhagen Harbour to show all of the architectural highlights. It sounds like the perfect way to start the day!

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2024, over 400 brands exhibited at the festival, where over 45.000 visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, product launches, networking, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly in showrooms and galleries during June, Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 18 — 20 June 2025.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge.

Please check the programme, which is updated on an ongoing basis, at 3daysofdesign.dk
