Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark's leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthroughs within design through its exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

MOEBE is a design studio that creates beautiful, simple, and responsibly made furniture, lighting, and design objects with great details that last a lifetime. It's that simple. Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, they develop all of their designs in-house from the studio workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen. With each design, they aim to create an intelligently constructed, high-quality piece that not only works well and looks great, but also encourages people to enjoy life with fewer distractions; people who crave honesty, simplification, and a need for ‘less’.

Giopato & Coombes is a creative studio that brings together a design approach and art research into their projects, founded in Italy by Cristiana Giopato and Christopher Coombes, an Italian-British architect and designer couple. Their practice uses light as a medium merging material and immaterial, to redefine interaction spaces by capturing everyday moments and elevating them to a collective celebration of memories and sensations. The Icelandic Embassy in Denmark teams up with the Iceland Design and Architecture center, producer of the DesignMarch festival and Business Iceland to present two different exhibitions showcasing the diversity of Icelandic design. In the foyer of the Embassy Hae/Hi: Designing Friendship, a collaborative project featuring Icelandic and Seattle based design studios, will be addressing the acts that take place, and the objects associated with, arriving and departing, greetings and goodbyes. Hungry? Outside the embassy please have yourself award winning freshly made wool pizza´s from Flétta and Ýrúrarí made from leftovers from the Icelandic wool industry. Oxdenmarq was founded in 2003. The goal was to produce reasonably priced furniture from exclusive materials like vegetable tanned saddle leather. Making affordable furniture is a core value OX still pursue in everything they do. Before finishing the design studies at the Copenhagen Design University, Dennis Marquart completed a Blacksmith education. Craftsmanship is a key for OX in everything they do. Many OX products are shaped around marble or vegetable tanned saddle leather. Stone and leather are materials that will and should get marks over time but they will also age with a very special beauty. When you learn to appreciate the beauty of maturity and of time passing, you have learned to appreciate patina the way it should be: appreciated.

SANAYI313 is an Istanbul-based interdisciplinary practice co-founded by two brothers. The brand functions as an umbrella for a diverse spread of creative businesses; a design studio operating a canteen and a curated store offering unconventional shopping experiences. All divisions interact to inspire and nurture each other under one vision. The studio also designs a growing line of products that merge form and function, and are characterised by their details, materiality. Working with noble materials as wood, bronze, glass; the studio focuses on sculptural forms that challenge the capability of the material while highlighting its distinctive features. SANAYI313 favours craft product over industrial manufacturing and works directly with artisans.

Copenhagen-based design company FRIPON is relaunching the classic Philosopher Lamp, designed by the Danish architect Lars-Erik Ejlers in the early 1990s. The lamp was originally made for Restaurant Cap Horn in Nyhavn. In the following years, the lamp, designed with a notable brass shade, became a rarity due to very limited distribution but still found its way and is gracing iconic bars and restaurants throughout Copenhagen. FRIPON’s first endeavour is to breathe new life into the classic Philosopher Lamp, once again. The Philospher Lamp is produced locally in workshops located in the metropolitan area of Copenhagen.
