Founded in 1898, Dinesen is a family–run Danish company with over 125 years of experience in crafting high–quality products out of wood. Public Crafts focuses on preserving and reintroducing traditional Japanese materials, which are fading from modern life, through design and spatial composition. The team collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Japan to create handmade products. Additionally, Public Crafts partners with Pure Fabrications, a small atelier based in Copenhagen that creates textiles and clothing entirely by hand in collaboration with its local community. Founded by Sarah Rousselle, Atlast collaborates with Usukiyaki artisans in Usuki City, Japan, to produce the Gloria tableware collection—everyday objects with deep historical roots, reimagined for modern living. Each piece is shaped using the Katauchi technique, where clay sheets are carefully pressed over hand-carved plaster moulds. This method preserves the warmth of handmade tradition, allowing for delicate details and organic variations.
