Founded by Claudia Pignatale in 2006, Secondome produces its own collection of Furniture and objects working to launch experimental designers, artisans and master craftsmen. Its mission lies in highlighting both the high quality manufacture of the Made in Italy brand and the originality of products, emphasizing the tradition of Italian craftsmanship whilst breaking the mold of lifeless objets d’art. The artisanal nature of Secondome’s production makes each piece individual and highly personalized.

An Italian Affair Claudia Pignatale, curator and Creative Director of Secondome, has called together 4 Italian design brands, Ethimo, Moroso, Fenix, Secondme two self-producing, 6:AM and Mandalaki, an artist Marta Abbott, and a Flower Designer, Barbara Mattei (Flovver) to bring to life a adventure where Italian design and savoir-faire will be the protagonists. "An Italian Affair" challenges the boundaries of time, celebrating the refinement, art and innovation of design and Made in Italy.

Meisterwerke, creators of fine woven art and interior accessories, express their passion for art and textiles through the crafting of unique and bespoke objets de désire. Each limited piece is meticulously designed, woven, and embroidered, drawing from the rich tradition of Flemish craftsmanship and innovation. Embracing the ethos of slow living, they offer art, functionality, and design that enriches every interior in a distinctive and artistic manner. Their fine woven art is rooted in the nearly forgotten weaving technique of jacquard tapestry, woven in a Flemish weaving atelier.

Copenhagen-based design company FRIPON is relaunching the classic Philosopher Lamp, designed by the Danish architect Lars-Erik Ejlers in the early 1990s. The lamp was originally made for Restaurant Cap Horn in Nyhavn. In the following years, the lamp, designed with a notable brass shade, became a rarity due to very limited distribution but still found its way and is gracing iconic bars and restaurants throughout Copenhagen. FRIPON’s first endeavour is to breathe new life into the classic Philosopher Lamp, once again.

The Philospher Lamp is produced locally in workshops located in the metropolitan area of Copenhagen.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2024, over 400 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge.
