Occhio Scandinavia
Occhio stands for a new culture of light that places people at its center. Founded in 1999 by designer and entrepreneur Axel Meise, Occhio unites the highest standards of design, unique quality of light and innovative operation in a comprehensive product portfolio for holistic lighting solutions at the highest level. Today, Occhio is one of the most innovative companies in the European premium segment and has developed from a German design icon into an internationally established luxury brand. Based in Munich and employing over 250 people, the company has a global presence – with its own flagship stores in Berlin, Munich, and Milan, as well as a network of more than 400 retail partners.
At this year's 3daysofdesign, Occhio brings its vision of a new culture of light to life in the redesigned Copenhagen Occhio showroom. Era takes centre stage: a series of wireless table and sideboard luminaires that unite finest craftsmanship with captivating light. A solid glass body refined with fine leather gives Era its iconic character; the luminaires are magically controlled by gesture and create warm, atmospheric light. Alongside Era, Coro moon—luminaires and spotlights in a clear, minimalist form—opens up new possibilities in holistic light design. A highlight is the Coro wave: a three–dimensional installation of Coro moon sospeso luminaires showcasing the series' versatility across residential and commercial contexts.
