For over 100 years, GRYTHYTTAN has combined Swedish craftsmanship with Scandinavian design. The furniture is still made by hand from wood and steel in Grythyttan, making the chairs and tables extremely weather-resistant and ensure they last decade after decade. The characteristic rocking mechanism of the chairs is created by the special spring steel frame, also requires human craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, discover the new additions to the iconic A2 series, which has been an integral part of Swedish gardens since the 1930. LIBELLE launched in 2023 has been given a new colour spectrum for 2024. The Icelandic Embassy in Denmark teams up with the Iceland Design and Architecture center, producer of the DesignMarch festival and Business Iceland to present two different exhibitions showcasing the diversity of Icelandic design. During 3daysofdesign, Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Exhibition will be held in the craftsmens' house, Moltke's Mansion, an impressive Baroque building in city center, owned by the Association of Craftsmen in Copenhagen. The exhibition is displaying unique master pieces by master craftsmen, as well as works from final exams, apprentice pieces and works by more established cabinetmakers. Since 1554, Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild has been a gathering place for both furniture makers and building carpenters. FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, showcasing exclusive design brands and their novelties in an inspiring and relevant way. The Odd Fellow Palace will once again provide the setting for the joint exhibition of FRAMING. All three floors of the impressive rococo building from the mid-1700, including the two wings, will offer space indoor as well as outdoor to national and international brands alike. In 2024, a total of 45 brands will exhibit at FRAMING, making it even bigger and more spectacular. Tableau is a multidisciplinary creative studio and exhibition space. Founded in Copenhagen in 2018 by floral designer Julius Værnes Iversen, Tableau works to deconstruct established ideas of art and design through a collaborative approach. Alongside the exhibition space and concept store, Tableau offers floral design, object design, set design, interior design, and architectural installations. The approach is to source collaborators globally to break down barriers between art and design. Past work includes projects for Hermes, Tom Dixon, Vogue, among others.
