During 3daysofdesign, Frandsen's immersive exhibition ‘Reflections of Light’ at the impressive Lindencrone Palais will guide visitors on a journey through the transformative power of light. Drawing heavily from the brand’s historic role as a pioneer in decorative lighting, Reflections of Light is a collection of immersive installations which celebrate the fundamental elements of illumination: light, shadow, reflection and form. Through a sophisticated play on black and white monochromatic shades, a profound sensorial experience is created which brings us back to the essence of light itself – the very element that propelled Frandsen to success in the late 1960s with luminaires such as the Ball.

With experience and passion in working with solid wood, ZEITRAUM stands for a modern, reduced design language and sustainable approach. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high-quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2024, over 400 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge.
