Danish Architecture Center (DAC) is an international cultural attraction for everyone who wants to experience and understand how architecture and design create the framework for our lives. DAC is located in the heart of Copenhagen in the spectacular BLOX building which is situated right at the harbor front and as part of Copenhagen’s Cultural Quarter. Through exhibitions, tours, events, learning and networking, Danish Architecture Center creates space for inspiration, enjoyment and immersion.

The exhibition Teenage Dreams offers a glimpse into the future of teenage bedrooms. Designing for teenagers means designing for a generation whose values will shape our future. The exhibition features a photo art project about teenage bedrooms, videos featuring young people discussing their ideal rooms, and three installations by talented young Danish designers. These installations offer insights into how contemporary challenges impact and alter teenagers' needs and desires for their personal spaces. Featured contributors include Barbara Marstrand, Our Shift, Natural Material Studio, and Krøyersætterlassen.

Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus, on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. With curiosity as fuel, they keep searching for the unexpected, yet-to-be discovered.

Fascinated by the tension that lies between natural materials and contemporary design and manufacture, Tom Fereday develops unique designs originating from an intrinsic inquiry into the role of objects today. Built on the principle of honest design Tom Fereday’s work celebrates the materials and manufacture behind furniture and objects, guiding considered and thoughtful design outcomes that explore the notion of quiet innovation. Born in Australia, Tom Fereday grew up in London, England studying sculpture and graphic design at the Wimbledon School of Art before moving to Australia to complete an honours in Industrial Design at the UTS Sydney. Working across Europe and Australia Tom Fereday went on to found his sole practice in 2012.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2024, over 400 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge.
