As we prepare to host a new edition of 3daysofdesign in 2025, Copenhagen’s vibrant, innovative design scene is ready to captivate visitors from around the globe. Known for its mix of historic charm and cutting—edge innovation, the city is the ideal backdrop for an array of inspiring, meaningful moments, slated to take place across 8 distinctive Design Districts throughout the city.
In line with our KEEP IT REAL theme, you’re invited to explore the transformative power of design that’s authentic, original, caring of people — and the planet. Similarly, our 2025 Design Districts reflect our commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and community.
“Copenhagen is emblematic of the multi—faceted meaning behind this year’s theme KEEP IT REAL. It’s a sustainable and open—minded metropolis that celebrates diversity. Our festival embodies our ethos to provide a visibility platform for different people with different perspectives. All in the context of Copenhagen’s rich cultural heritage, reputation for innovation, and legacy of design.”
— Signe Byrdal Terenziani, Managing Director of 3daysofdesign
Each year, we challenge the way you experience Copenhagen — pushing creative boundaries and exploring new ways for you to enjoy the city’s past, present, and future. All in an effort to add an extra dimension to your experience of the exciting exhibitions and events we have in store for you.
Our 8 new Design Districts will focus on topics inspired by our 2025 theme KEEP IT REAL. To connect the dots of festival, there will be a new addition to allow visitors to dive into these topics in each districts. Something we call our 3daysofdesign i—Points. The i—Points are designed to easily find information, inspiration and installations. They also provide a physical focal point to facilitate meeting up with friends and colleagues while exploring the festival.
Our i—Points embodies 3daysofdesign’s mission to create presence during the festival. For the first time, visitors and exhibitors will meet dedicated and informative District Managers, who are present to help, guide and inspire a memorable festival experience. It is also here visitors will meet up for the Design Walks and be greeted by our very first Design Ambassadors - to be revealed later this spring.
To help you locate the i—Points, we are happy to introduce a new 3daysofdesign symbol, which will connect the dots of the festival. The concept behind the symbol was created in collaboration with brand agency e—Types. For 2025, we invited Thomas Lykke from OEO Studio to create a distinctive, recognisable visual cue to guide visitors through the city.
Holmen has recently undergone a massive renovation, from a maritime district to what is now a magnet for art galleries, showrooms and creative spaces. It’s the epitome of transformation, bridging the gap between old and new, edgy and established, the past and the future.
