Roosa Ryhänen is a Helsinki—based designer whose work blends industrial and product design, creating objects that exist at the intersection of function and art. Ryhänen favours local production and material sourcing, using Finnish birch and supporting local artisans to minimise environmental impact. Ryhänen’s mindset in design production is centred on made–to–order, minimising waste by producing only what is needed and reducing excess inventory. Her work aims to create timeless, collectible designs that not only serve a functional purpose but also challenge conventional design.

Roosa's newest collection is inspired by the imperfection forms of handmade objects. Made out of wood and using CNC—milling in the process, the design arises from the idea that 'form follows intuition', exploring how spontaneity can exist in industrially produced objects.

Örsjö is founded on simple values and strong beliefs, dedicated to developing and crafting premium lighting by hand in their local factory with the sincere intention of leaving the best possible mark on our planet. Handcrafted objects convey an indescribable sense of human touch and warmth—a link between the user and the creator often lost in industrial production. Therefore, the work of the hand holds great importance for Örsjö, utilising local craftsmen for the entire product range. Welding, soldering, bending, polishing, painting, assembling, blowing glass, and carving leather all take place in their own factory or at friends' workshops in the region. Örsjö simply aims for their products to outlive themselves and leave the best possible mark on the planet.

The palace has housed the embassy for a century, and has since its origins been a symbol of the strong ties between France and Denmark. All year round, the Embassy opens its doors to the public on the occasion of various cultural events (exhibitions, conferences, concerts), and has showcased French designers as part of 3daysofdesign every year since the festival began. Institut français is the French cultural center in Denmark, and also functions as the French Embassy's cultural department. The institute's mission is to promote French culture, language and ideas to the Danish public.
