Københavns Møbelsnedkeri is dedicated to the craft of making handmade furniture. Since 2006 they have made furniture, kitchens, wardrobes and bathrooms for both private and corporate customers around the world. Each furniture is handcrafted in Copenhagen and extraordinary quality isn’t saved for a special occasion – it’s put into every single furniture, every day. From Japanese joints to solid brass hardware, it is a luxury that lasts and designs that can be treasured for generations to come.

During 3daysofdesign, Københavns Møbelsnedkeri has transformed 4 interconnected rooms at Frederiksgade into a dreamlike vision named Historia. In Historia “Eat me” cakes and “Drink me” potions are your tickets to an odd and unreal world of furniture design – new and contemporary, yes, but rooted in history. The designers and cabinetmakers at Københavns Møbelsnedkeri focus on high quality design, architecture and craftsmanship, and cherish the fact, that they make their furniture in Copenhagen. To visit the workshop – book an appointment. To visit Historia – eat cake.

Furniture ought to make room for people. This has been the philosophy of FDB Møbler since its founding in 1942, when architect Børge Mogensen led the design studio. While new designers have since joined, the founding principles remain unchanged: to create beautiful, functional and well–crafted furniture that supports everyday life at home. Today, FDB Møbler is internationally recognised as a pioneer of Danish design. From iconic classics to contemporary pieces, each design reflects the same ambition—to enhance quality of life through thoughtful, enduring furniture.
