Fontein & Bova is a young, small-scale Belgian company with big dreams, specializing in the design and crafting of distinctive, solid wood designer furniture with great respect for craftsmanship and an eye for detail. All our pieces are entirely handmade in Belgium (Wichelen) by our small team of craftspeople with a tremendous passion for the material and the craft. High-quality hardwood such as oak and walnut are consistently used to achieve the most sustainable and high end result possible. Our partners, including those providing fabrics used in our upholstery, are carefully selected to ensure a reliable, 100% Belgian quality label.

During 3daysofdesign, Fontein & Bova will present well-known pieces from their Hugo collection, as well as a stunning, one-of-a-kind bar cabinet showcasing their proud heritage in true Belgian craftsmanship. Every piece is handmade with a passion for the material and an eye for detail. For the occasion, the Lapidarium of Kings will serve as a showroom for the beautiful contemporary works by the up-and-coming brand.

Davidpompa is a Mexican lighting studio focused on materiality, research and craftsmanship, creating collections that explore the beauty of raw materials. Founded by designer David Pompa, the studio collaborates with artisans across Mexico, combining traditional techniques with a contemporary design language. Materials such as clay, stone and metal are central to the collections, shaped through skilled craftsmanship and ongoing material exploration. Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl collaborates with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. Balancing artistic vision with functional form, the presentation reflects Finn Juhl’s continued relevance across generations.

Under the headline ‘In celebration of light’ FRANDSEN's goal is simple: unfold the many functions of good lighting—be it visual, social or sensual, to enrich people’s everyday lives. Through ambitious collaborations with international designers, FRANDSEN aims to further explore the interplay between light, material, and form. A lamp might still be a lamp, but FRANDSEN will perpetually push the boundaries of what’s possible, creating lighting solutions both functional and yet aesthetically pleasing.
