From the beginning, the goal of the company has been to challenge traditional approaches to design to make a collection full of bold and playful products. With experience and passion in working with solid wood, ZEITRAUM stands for a modern, reduced design language and sustainable approach. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high–quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.

EETAL is a project launched in 2021 by Japan Benex Corporation, a company specialising in precision sheet metal processing technology. Through collaborations with designers, it reconsiders the creative potential of sheet metal from multiple perspectives. Embracing an experimental approach, the project challenges conventional notions of industrial production and explores new dialogues between sheet metal and design. The name "EETAL" originates from "SHEET METAL." It combines "EET" from "SHEET" and "TAL" from "METAL," forming a coined term that symbolises a new approach to sheet metal design.
