The Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, have the pleasure to present an exclusive exhibition where numerous well-known Spanish brands take part in this extraordinary event. Discover Ondarreta with their traditional and innovational designs, RS Barcelona with their playful products and Viccarbe with their aesthetic furniture. The exhibition showcases modern, sustainable, and elegant designs, that together will compose an inspiring space, featured in the beautiful frame of the Odd Fellow Palace, where Spanish design and Danish heritage will merge.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

From the beginning, the goal of the company has been to challenge traditional approaches to design to make a collection full of bold and playful products. Each bringing an instant attraction and passion that’s hard to explain but easy to feel. Focusing on functional design and high quality materials, Gejst takes a normal product, looks at the need to be fulfilled, then strips it down to come up with something thrilling. Multifunctional and thought through to the smallest detail. Each design is a testament to this approach and it is our way of bringing gejst into homes all around the world.
