Since 1977, Furnipart has specialized in designing handles and knobs for the kitchen industry, embracing the power of durable designs that not only serve a function but also carry stories and embody enduring values. In collaboration with Danish designer Signe Hytte, Furnipart is launching a collection of handles and knobs that go beyond the merely functional; every piece is a tiny sculpture with meticulous attention to detail that stirs intrigue and sparks curiosity. Drawing inspiration from lasting culture and art over passing trends and technology, Signe Hytte aims to create objects and interiors that tell stories, reflecting a unique dream, state of mind, or perspective.

Furnipart welcomes two new collections conceived by designer Signe Hytte. The aim for both series is to focus on materiality and show the unique qualities and properties that come from putting brass and steel centre stage, through techniques such as sand casting. Both collections reduce shapes to their very essence, remove elements, and leave only the core of the functionality and the form behind. The collaboration with Signe Hytte marks Furnipart’s first entry into a new line of exclusive handles and knobs.

Anklang, a young furniture brand with deeply rooted in the charming town of Præstø, Denmark. The company operates out of a creative workshop situated amidst fields and forests, sharing space with a print and framing workshop. It was in this setting that the idea for the unique furniture emerged – motivated by the desire to use surplus wood from the framing production.
Everything is designed and handmade in the carpentry with a strong focus on thorough knowledge of the materials. Danish materials are preferred whenever possible, with a commitment to providing furniture that is clear and transparent – a "from soil to table" approach. Anklang embraces the danish forest and endeavors to infuse that feeling of calm into its furnitures.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
