For more than 135 years, Auping has been designing the very best ways of resting. Every single bed is made with care and attention to details, the environment, and the future. The combination of high-quality materials like steel, wood and superior upholstery fabrics have become a recognisable Auping signature over the years. Additionally, the interplay of sleek horizontal lines and soft rounded corners are characteristic for Auping designs.

Auping will be showcasing the new bed Noble that perfectly combines aesthetics and comfort and exudes a modest form of luxury. Elegant and understated with soft, rounded corners and wide headboard with integrated bedside tables and large lounge cushions that provide perfect support. The bed is designed by Dutch Johan van Hengel, and made of solid oak – a sustainable, durable, and natural material from replanted forests in Europe. The wood for Auping bed frames is always certified with either FSC, PEFC or STIP.

The brand was born from a passion for objects and an immense curiosity about materials.
Material is the main focus in the development process of the projects. The right material gives the piece personality and soul, revealing its unique identity.
The collections are in limited editions, and the entire production is made in Lisbon, where the company is based. The producers are small local factories, workshops, and artisans, many existing for over 30 years.
Longevity is the thought behind the brand. The idea is reflected in the products through objects of simple forms that are easy to take care of, allowing the pieces to cross the time and creating interaction with the material.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
