Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987, and has since been formulating products with efficacy foremost in mind. The range now spans skin, hair and body care, as well as fragrance and accessories for the self and home. A sincere interest in intelligent and sustainable design extends to every aspect of Aesop’s workings. Each space is distinctive and atmospheric, comforting and inspiring, functional and organised. In seeking new locations, our first consideration is to work with what already exists. Avant-garde and sensitive store design has been and will continue to be an integral part of what Aesop is—true to the brand’s conviction that few things are more conducive to a life well-lived than well-considered design.

Aesop develops efficacious and aromatic formulations for the skin, hair, body and home, guided by a sincere interest in intelligent design—their pared-back containers are created with the utmost care to ensure functionality and pleasure, and each store interior is created with careful consideration to the fabric of its neighbourhood. During 3 daysofdesign, Aesop is showcasing the unique architecture of its three Copenhagen stores, including the newly opened Aesop Kronprinsensgade. Aesop is also partnering with Fredericia: a family-owned and B Corp-certified design company based in Copenhagen, exhibiting select pieces from the Danish design brand—including the limited-edition chair by Nanna Ditzel, ‘Chaconia’, on display at Aesop Nyhavn.

Gejst was founded with a passion for making attractive, sustainable design that will last the test of time.
Gejst means excitement and enthusiasm in English. From the start, the goal of the company has been to challenge traditional approaches to design to make a collection full of bold and playful products. Each bringing an instant attraction and passion that’s hard to explain but easy to feel.
Focusing on functional design and high quality materials, Gejst takes a normal product, looks at the need to be fulfilled, then strips it down to come up with something thrilling. Multifunctional and thought through to the smallest detail.
Each design is a testament to this approach and it is our way of bringing gejst into homes all around the world.

MOEBE is a design studio that creates beautiful, simple, and responsibly made furniture, lighting, and design objects with great details that last a lifetime. It's that simple.

Formed in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinet maker Anders Thams, they develop all of their designs in-house from the studio workshop on the island of Amager in Copenhagen.

With each design, they aim to create an intelligently constructed, high-quality piece that not only works well and looks great, but also encourages people to enjoy life with fewer distractions; people who crave honesty, simplification, and a need for ‘less’.

Porcelain has been produced in Hasami for the past four centuries. Building on this heritage, Hasami Porcelain was born under the direction of Takuhiro Shinomoto. Clean lines, organic textures and multifunctional designs define the brand’s tableware. Inspired by traditional jubako tiered boxes, the modular products can be easily stacked for efficient storage. Passing through the hands of various craftspeople during the course of production, each piece is finally stamped by hand, completing its truly unique character.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
