COVID-19 updates

3daysofdesign has been postponed and will take place on the 16th-18th of September 2021

Our decision to postpone 3daysofdesign results from a close dialogue with the international health authorities advising all larger events to be postponed. As a global event, we take our responsibility seriously. The safety and well-being of our 3daysofdesign community are of the utmost important to us.

Fortunately, the 3daysofdesign event is held in over 150 locations. This facilitates our ability to take the proper measures to ensure that the festival is COVID-19 safe. Given so many different venues, it’s actually easy to avoid large crowds in just one place and to control the number of visitors at the various locations. We are also making sure that the designated transportation during the event is COVID-19 safe.

Information for visitors to Denmark

At 3daysofdesign, we are taking all the necessary health measures in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Danish Health Authorities (SSI) to ensure your safety during our event. We continuously check for updates and any changes to the rules and we recommend that you please do the same. All exhibitors and their staff are encouraged to wear face masks in their showrooms and to have hand sanitisers for visitors available at all times. We also encourage all visitors to wear a face mask in showrooms and any other crowded spaces. At the same time, it’s important to keep a respectful social distance as specified.

Regarding entry into Denmark, please be sure to check for the newest updates from the Danish Police. We recommend that you refer your guests to this website, where foreign visitors can find an entry form and read about the rules and protocols to follow before they arrive in Denmark.

Travel advice to European countries

The Danish Health Authority (Statens Serum Institut) will issue updated overviews of “open countries” and “quarantine countries” every Thursday at 4 pm. Immediately thereafter, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will update the travel advice, if any changes are necessary. They will also continuously update the travel advice in the event of any other changes to entry restrictions or quarantine rules from specific countries.

Arrivals hotline

For the time being, foreigners arriving in Denmark will be refused entry to Denmark at all internal and external borders unless they have a “worthy purpose” of entering Denmark. The purposes that are characterised as worthy are described here on their website: If you are travelling to and from Denmark. The website provides answers to most of the frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered, the Danish Police have opened a dedicated hotline to answer questions about worthy purposes of travelling to or transiting Denmark over the phone. The Danish Police are not able to answer questions about worthy purposes of entry via email. Danish Police Travel Hotline: Call +45 7020 6044 Open weekdays from 8 am – 4 pm.
