Residence of the Italian Ambassador

The Italian ambassador, Stefano Queirolo Palmas and Mrs. Ornella are pleased to welcoming you inside their beautiful home, which has been the official Residence of the Italian Ambassadors in Denmark since 1924. The residence originates back to 1750, when King Frederick V ceded to his Chamberlain, Christian Bærentz, a piece of land to build his home next to the Royal Palace of Amalienborg.
The Embassy of Italy in Denmark has decided to use a part of the Residence for Artist initiatives for young designers. On the occasion of 3daysofdesign, the Residence will host an exhibition curated by Marco Sammicheli. The exhibition will be open to the public at special opening hours.
