The Embassy of Sweden invites you to visit its beautiful premises in the corner of Amaliegade and Sankt Annæ Plads during 3daysofdesign.
In collaboration with the Swedish design brands DUX and Smaller Objects, the Embassy will host an exhibition of contemporary Swedish design, in a historic setting in the Residence building. The Embassy will also, in collaboration with the Swedish Institute and Malmö Form/Design Center, show “Swedish Design Stories”, an exhibition about the history and future of Swedish design.
The Residence was built in 1752 as a private mansion for the timber merchant Johan Jegind, based on drawings by the famous Court Architect Nicolai Eigtved. Today, it serves as the Ambassador’s home and representation rooms. Welcome!
